My Memorable Journey to Mustang

6th Mangsir, 2081 B.S.

Dear Diary,

Today was a wonderful and unforgettable day! I woke up at 4 a.m., feeling excited about my journey to Mustang with my friends from Tribhuvan Secondary School. I couldn’t sleep well last night because I was thinking about the trip.

I reached Deurali Bazaar at 5 a.m. to get on the bus. There were two buses, each carrying 40 passengers. In total, we were 63 students, 13 teachers, and 4 bus staff. Our journey started at 6 a.m. from Deurali Bazaar, Argali Palpa.

On the way, we stopped at Mirmi for a short toilet break. Later, we had tea and biscuits for breakfast at Purtighat, Gulmi. The journey was long but exciting. At 11:30 a.m., we reached Baglung Kalika Temple. We walked around the temple, took photos and worshipped at the temple. Then, we had lunch at 12:30 p.m. near the temple. After lunch, we visited the Golden Bridge that connects Parbat and Baglung. It was an amazing experience. I as well as my friends was scared while walking on the scary bridge which was swinging due to wind.

After spending some time there, we continued our journey. The scenery on the way was beautiful. The rocky-mountains, rivers, and greenery made the trip even more special. After a long ride, we finally reached Jomsom, the district headquarter of Mustang district at 8 p.m. It was very cold there. We stayed at Dreamland Hotel. The food was tasty, and the hotel was comfortable.

Since we had to wake up early the next morning to visit Muktinath Temple, I went to bed early. I and my friends spent the night in room number 103 of the hotel. Today was an amazing day, and I will always remember this journey.
