Difficulties in
Learning English
Learning
English can be difficult for many people. One of the biggest problems is
grammar. English has many rules, and some words don’t follow them. For example,
verbs like "go" change to "went" in the past, and it’s hard
to remember all the changes.
Another
problem is pronunciation. Some words in English are not pronounced the way they
are written, like "though" or "knight," which can confuse
learners.
English
also has many words with different meanings. For example, the word
"bank" can mean a place for money or the side of a river, which makes
it hard to know which meaning to use.
Lastly,
phrasal verbs like "give up" or "turn on" are also tricky
because their meaning is not clear from the words. Even though learning English
is hard, with practice, anyone can get better at it.
