PRESS RELEASE

Price Increase for Dairy Products

Kathmandu, (Feb 3, 2024)- We regret to inform you that Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) has decided to increase the prices of our dairy products, effective from 5 February, 2024. We understand that this decision may impact our customers, and we wish to provide clear reasons for this adjustment.

The primary reason for the price increase is the rising cost of production. Over the past few months, we have experienced significant increases in the costs of raw materials, such as animal feed and fuel for transportation. Additionally, other operational expenses, including labour and packaging materials, have also seen notable increases. As a result, we are compelled to adjust the prices of our dairy products to ensure the continued quality and sustainability of our operations.

We remain committed to providing high-quality dairy products while maintaining fair pricing. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we navigate these challenges together.

Thank you for your understanding.

Press Release

Cancellation of Regular Flights to Mountain Regions

Kathmandu, (3 Feb, 2024)- We regret to inform our valued customers that Nepal Airlines has made the difficult decision to cancel all flights to the mountain regions until further notice. This decision comes as a result of the poor weather conditions, which pose significant safety concerns for our passengers and crew.

The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew are our top priorities, and we cannot compromise on this commitment. Even though we've tried our best to understand and reduce the dangers, the mountain weather is so unpredictable that we have to take this safety step.

Passengers affected by these cancellations will be provided with alternative travel arrangements or offered full refunds, as per our policies.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this challenging time. For further assistance or information, please contact our customer service team.

Thank you for your continued support of Nepal Airlines.
