What is Raja yoga in your kundali and what is its impact on life ?

Vedic astrology is a very wide concept. It is a challenging task to analyze a Kundali in detail and to make predictions. A good astrologer should consider all the important factors in a Kundali before reaching to a conclusion.
Yogas play a very important role in the analysis of a Kundali. A person gets auspicious results in life if auspicious Yogas are forming in a Kundali and the Dasha or Antardasha of the planet related to these Yogas is running in a Kundali. Vedic astrology talks about a lot of Yogas. But, Rajyogas are the most significant among all.
Let us see whether the Yoga is formed in your Kundali is Rajyoga or not and if it is a Rajyoga then what impact it will have in your life.

Role of houses in the formation of Rajyoga in a Janma Kundali

The 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th house in your Kundali are known as Vishnu Sthan.
These houses are also known as the Kendra houses.
In the same way, the 5th and the 9th house in your Kundali are known as Lakshami Sthan.
These are also known as Trine houses.
It is believed that lord Vishnu is incomplete without goddess Lakshami. Therefore, Rajyoga is formed when a Kendra house or Vishnu Sthan forms a relationship with a Trine house or Lakshmi Sthan. Rajyogas are considered auspicious for a Kundali. But, these Yogas provide favourable results only during the dasha of planets related to them.
Rajyoga is also formed when the lord of Kendra house and Trine house are situated in the same house or aspect each other. Similarly, when the lord of Kendra house and the lord of Trine house exchange signs with each other, the Rajyoga is formed.

Impact of Rajyoga on a person’s life

Rajyoga is considered auspicious and strong if the planets forming Rajyoga are placed in the Kendra or Trine houses of your Kundali. It also gives auspicious results if it is formed in second or eleventh house.
If the Rajyoga formed in your kundali is strong, then you will be blessed with all kinds of worldly pleasures. You will also get success in business or at your workplace.
If any of the Rajyoga are formed in the inauspicious houses of your Kundali, their auspicious results will be reduced.
The auspicious results of Rajyogas will be also reduced if they are formed in auspicious houses but the planets involved in it are afflicted in the Navansh Kundali.
In the same way, the results will also be minimized if planets involved in the formation of Rajyoga are present on Rahu/Ketu axis or if these planets are placed with Rahu/Ketu or any other malefic planets.

Vipreet Rajyogas formed in a Kundali

There are many auspicious yogas according to Vedic astrology. ‘Vipreet Rajyoga’ is one of the auspicious Yoga. It is formed when the sixth, eighth and twelfth house form a relationship with each other.
If the lord of sixth house is situated in the eighth house of your kundali, then ‘Harsha Vipreet Rajyoga’ is formed. This Yoga will keep your enemies away from you and will give you the strength to get victory over them. It will also make you fortunate and prosperous person.
In the same way, ‘Saral Vipreet Yoga’ is formed when the lord of the eighth house is in the sixth or twelfth house of your Kundali. You will be blessed with longevity with the influence of this Yoga. You will become courageous, wealthy and may even achieve fame at your workplace during this period.
If the lord of the twelfth house is present in sixth or eighth house of your Kundali, it forms ‘Vimal Vipreet Yoga’. Your expenditures will never go beyond your earnings due to the influence of this Yoga in your Kundali. You will become open-minded and well behaved in this period. You may also get involved in good deeds.
The results related to Vipreet Rajyoga are obtained only if the Rajyoga is formed in your Kundali by the association of Kendra and Trine house.

Formation and impact of Neechbhanga Rajyoga in a Kundali

Sometimes, a planet present in debilitated sign in a Janma Kundali gives auspicious results in its own Dasha. It happens because there is Neechbhang of that planet in the Kundali. For instance, if a planet is in debilitated sign in your Kundali but it is at Kendra from ascendant or from Moon, a Neechbhang Rajyoga will be formed.
Similarly, a Neechbhanga Rajyoga is also formed when the lord of the sign in which the planet is debilitated is in Kendra from the ascendant or from the Moon in your Kundali.
If the exalted planet of the sign in which the planet is debilitated is in Kendra from the ascendant or from the moon, then the Neechbhanga Rajyoga is formed. For instance, if Saturn is debilitated in Aries sign in your Kundali, Sun is exalted in the Aries sign and Sun is in Kendra house from the ascendant or from the moon, the Neechbhanga Rajyoga will be formed in your Kundali.
It is also formed when a debilitated planet aspects its own sign or is in the same house. For example, if Mars is debilitated in Cancer sign, Moon is the lord of Cancer and Moon aspects or conjuncts Mars, then the Neechbhanga Rajyoga is formed.
Apart from these Yogas, debilitated planets also give auspicious results in the 3rd, 6th or 11th house of the Kundali.
The Dasha of debilitated planets gives auspicious results in its initial phase. However as the Dasha advances, it gives auspicious results.
Examples of Rajyog: -
Example#1: -
In the chart given below there is a combination relation between Jupiter & Venus in the first house which is constituting a Rajyog because Jupiter is the lord of 5th house (Trikon) & Venus is the lord of 10th house (Kendra). Mars is itself constituting a Rajyog (without the aid of any other planet) because it is the lord planet of 9th house (Kendra) as well as the lord of 4th house (Trikon). This way there are two Rajyogs in this chart.

Example#2: -

In the chart given below Mars, which is the lord of 9th house (Trikon) is present in the first house & lord of first house (Kendra as well as Trikon) Sun is present in the 9th house due to which there is a Rajyog due to exchange of zodiacs between Sun & Mars. Similarly there is a Rajyog between Jupiter & Venus. Jupiter is the lord of 5th house (Trikon) & Venus is the lord of 10th house (Kendra) & both planets have exchanged zodiacs.

Example#3: -

In the chart given below Mars (lord of 9th house as well as that of 4th house) and Sun (lord of first house) are observing each other due to which there is a Rajyog due to bidirectional vision between them. Similrarly Jupiter & Venus are constituting a Rajyog. Jupiter is the lord of 5th house (Trikon) & Venus is the lord of 10th house (Kendra).
