My Journey from Argali to Mustang

On 6th Mangsir, 2081 B.S., I woke up at 4 AM, full of excitement for the trip to Mustang with my friends from Tribhuvan Secondary School. I couldn’t sleep well the night before, as I was eagerly looking forward to the adventure. By 5 AM, we reached Deurali Bazaar to board the buses. There were two buses, each carrying 40 passengers. In total, 63 students, 13 teachers, and 4 bus staff set off on our journey at 6 AM.

We made a short stop at Mirmi for a toilet break and then had tea and biscuits for breakfast at Purtighat in Gulmi. By 11:30 AM, we reached the Baglung Kalika Temple, where we walked around and worshipped. We had lunch near the temple at 12:30 PM and also visited the longest bridge connecting Parbat and Baglung. After that, we continued our journey, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way.

We arrived in Mustang at 8 PM and stayed at Dreamland Hotel. The weather was very cold, but the food was delicious. We went to bed early because we had to get up early the next morning to visit Muktinath Temple.

The next day, we woke up at 5 AM and started our journey to Muktinath at 6 AM. We reached the temple at 7:30 AM, climbed the stairs, and worshipped. The weather was extremely cold, but we took photos to remember the moment. After returning to Jomsom, we had lunch at 1 PM before heading back to Pokhara. We bought souvenirs in Marfa, including fresh apples, and stopped at Galeshwar Myagdi for noodles and Frooti juice.

By 9 PM, we reached Pokhara and stayed at Hotel Smriti. The next morning, we visited places like Devi’s Falls, Fewa Lake, Bindabasini Temple, the Mountain Museum, and the Science Museum. Sadly, the Mountain Museum was a disappointment. Later, we went to Pumdikot to see the giant statue of Lord Shiva.

At 5:30 PM, we began our journey back to Argali, passing through Syangja. After a dinner stop in Ridi, we finally reached home at midnight. It was a tiring but unforgettable trip!
